Books: A Sure Bet (poker theme - public library)

This blog is open for comments from anyone in the IMLT program at Grant MacEwan College. Please feel free to comment on anything about the display that you liked, that you didn't like, things you think could have been improved upon, or things you felt worked well in the display. The assumption is that you have seen the displays in person, and are not relying on the sometimes bad photography to evaluate these displays! Thank you for any and all comments you may have.

Interesting display, nicely themed together, some use of the hight available, feel like i am the forth player. A fair selection of material, but what about some information for troubled gamblers, this would present a nice contrast and maybe give a message as well.
I liked this one. The use of the silhouettes is very effective.
I liked the silhouettes as well and the holding of the cards close to the chest added to the fun of the image. I wondered about using one shade lighter of paper so they were a bit more visible. Eye-catching that the centre guy is holding DVD's in place of cards.
I wished that the title letters were lying flat instead of curled up.
