This is a nice display and really like the way it moves up the case. Good use of colour here as well, and the dark theme appeals to me when I consider the author. One thing that could improve this might be a list of titles that would interest readers of this series (sort of like a mini readers advisory).
Although I like the starkness of the colour scheme, and feel it matches the author, I think the ratty old case cover should have been covered up with a better (richer) looking black cloth.
This is something I've felt of all the display cases in this series.
Great theme - you're set for a whole year of displays with this one! Will really appeal to those readers who like the "big world" aspect of reading and are on the lookout for new series to explore. I disagree with adding other titles by this author; it would distract from the theme. They can easily look up the author name in the catalogue.
I like the tower effect. It is a great effect. A very basic, but great display.
