Fairly eyecatching, but more because of the colour that the substance.

Very 2-D; the display is all flat to the back or all on the base.

I think it's rather refreshing to see a Canadian display amongst the other displays. I also have it on good authority from the creators of this display that they chose the red background because they were trying to acheive a visceral look, in keeping with the tone of Cronenberg's films.

Seems to work on two levels.
From a distance, the bright color, large text and photograph attract attention and draw a person in. Makes you think "who is this?" "what is this about?'
Then at the close-up level the detailed information fills you in enough to give a sense of whether you might like to borrow some of the items that are displayed.

I like this one, although it would work just about as well on a bulletin board. The colours stand out well even the title font. Though the flag is hard to see at first, it is a nice touch.
